David W. Stalhood, age 61 of Royce Road, Varysburg, passed away peacefully, Friday, June 28 ^th 2019 at The Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing Facility in Batavia. He was born in Warsaw, October 16 ^th 1957, the son of the late Glenn and Mabel Shaw Stalhood. David worked as a farm laborer for various local farms in the Varysburg and North Java Areas. David was a very hard worker who loved hunting big and small game also fishing, but most of all spending time with his nieces and nephews.

David was preceded in death by his brother, William Stalhood. Survivors include a step-daughter, Stacy Parsons of Morrisville, 3 sisters, Mary Richardson of Warsaw, Norma (John) Pilc of Warsaw, and Florence Young of Batavia, a brother Fred Stalhood of Varysburg, and several nieces and nephews. Friends of David Stalhood may call on Thursday, July 11 ^th from 5-6pm at the Weeks Funeral Home 123 N. Main Street Warsaw followed by a memorial service led by Pastor Bill Taber of The York Baptist Church. Memorial contributions may be made in David's name to the Varysburg or North Java Rescue Squads.
