David N. Brown, age 70, of Wyoming, NY, passed away Wednesday, July 24th, 2013 at the Wyoming County Community Hospital in Warsaw. He was born in Batavia, November 17th, 1942, son of the late Wesley and Edith Knox Brown. A lifetime resident of Wyoming County and 1960 graduate of Wyoming Central School, David worked as a feed salesman for Millers Feed Service in Warsaw and then Blue Seal in Arcade from where he retired in 2002. He was a member of the West Middlebury Baptist Church and enjoyed reading and watching westerns. David was known as a very hard working and dedicated family man. He served his country honorably with the United States Army from 1961 to 1964. David is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Barbara Cummins Brown, whom he married November 18th, 1967; three daughters, Amy (Jonathan) Frost of East Greenbush, NY, Linda (Bryan) Kehl of Attica, and Janis (Keith) Dahl of Frisco, TX; two sisters, Marjorie (Joseph) Sherwin of Madison, GA and Patricia (Gene) Tiede of Pavilion; a brother, Gordon (Beulah) Brown of Batavia; four grandchildren, Susan and Hayden Kehl and Nicholas and Conor Frost; and several nieces and nephews. Friends of David may call Friday, July 26th, 2013 from 12pm to 3pm at the Weeks Funeral Home 123 N. Main St, Warsaw. A funeral service will be held 11am, Saturday, July 27th, 2013 at the West Middlebury Baptist Church with Pastor Dale Cuer as officiant. Burial will follow in the West Middlebury Cemetery.
