Obituary

David A. Allbright, 70, of Brownsville, passed away on Sunday, September 26 at the West Tennessee Healthcare Hospital in Dyersburg.  Born on August 26, 1951 in Dansville, NY to the late Richard and Jennie Allbright, he spent his teen years working on a farm and was an avid gardener, outdoorsman and loved all animals.  He retired from CSX as an Engineer/Conductor and was a U. S. Army veteran.

He is survived by one son, Brian Allbright (James Compton) of West Harford, CT; his fiancé, Marie Leach of Brownsville; one step-son, Ben Leach of Brownsville; one step-daughter, Heather Baier (Adam) of Rochester, NY; two brothers, Peter A. Allbright of Florida and Bruce R. Allbright of Pike, NY; three grandchildren, Carolyn Compton-Allbright, Thomas Compton-Allbright and Jefferson Compton-Allbright, all of West Hartford, CT; three step-grandchildren, Kaylee Leach, Samantha Baier and Abigail Baier.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Meredith Allbright; one son, Jason Allbright and one step-son, Richard Leach.

Friends of David A. Allbright may call on Saturday, December 11, 2021 from 9am to 11am at the Weeks Funeral Home 123 N. Main Street Warsaw, NY 14569. Following the calling, a Masonic Service will be conducted by the Triluminar Lodge #543 of F & AM of which David was raised as a third degree Mason on October 13, 1976. The Masons will be followed by the American Legion Veterans Service and full military honors outside of the funeral home. A graveside service will be held in the Elmwood Cemetery in Pike, New York on Saturday, July 30, 2022 beginning at 10:30am. Please visit www.weeksfuneral.com to offer additional condolences.
