David W. Adair, age 66, of North Byron Road Elba died suddenly, Thursday, June 19th in Batavia.
He was born in Warsaw, November 22nd 1941, the son of the late Scott and Lorraine (Buckhout) Adair.
David was a machinist for Kodak and various companies throughout Rochester area before retiring in 1994. He lived in Elba for the last 10 years but was originally from Warsaw. He was an avid hunter and fisherman who truly enjoyed the outdoors. David was a 1959 graduate of Warsaw Central and went on to join the Marines. He served from 1959 until 1963. David was a lifetime member of the Vaness-Strollo VFW Post #1602 in Batavia.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and three brothers Steven, Alan, and Charles.
He is survived by a Son; Scott D. (Theresa Clyne) Adair of Rochester and a Daughter: Cheri L. (Scott) Allen of Elba. Three brothers; James (Gayle) Adair, Gerald (Mary) Adair and Paul Adair, and four grandchildren also survive.
A remembrance service will be held Thursday, June 26th at 6pm at the Elba Fireman's Recreation Hall 7143 Oak Orchard Rd. Elba, NY 14058
