Daryl W. Mills, age 76, passed away Sunday August 7, 2016. Born in Warsaw, New York, Daryl settled in Florida soon after graduating from St. Lawrence University and created a successful professional life with Winn Dixie, where in his forty-plus years he rose from entry-level positions to retire as the Corporate Director for New Systems and Procurement. Well into his retirement, he stayed active in leadership and advisory roles with the National Frozen and Refrigerated Foods Association. He was universally known for his sharp wit, good humor, tall tales and remarkable generosity.

Daryl is survived by his children, Blake and Kendall and six grandsons, Quintin, Cleveland and Aiden Mills-Conrad, Eric and Cameron Conrad, and Gareth Watson-Mills. Daryl also leaves behind his siblings, Karen Mills-Courts, Kathleen Mills, Sandra Fitzpatrick, Bruce Mills, as well as his dear lifelong friend, Janet Mills.

Visitation will be held from 5 pm to 7 pm on Thursday, August 11 in Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home of Mandarin. Additional calling hours will take place Saturday, August 13th, from 10am to noon at the Weeks Funeral Home 123 N. Main St. Warsaw, NY where a funeral service will take place at noon. Burial will follow in the Warsaw Cemetery.
