Leicester-
Daniel A. Prevost, age 53 of Rt. 20A Leicester, died suddenly, Sunday, May 6th 2012 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester. Daniel was born in Rochester, November 8th 1958, the son of Donald and Mary Isaman Prevost of Leicester. A lifetime resident and 1977 graduate of York Central School, Daniel worked as a mechanic for S.V. Moffett in Henrietta and at Beard's Creek, the family golf course. Danny loved to work on his car and play guitar. He enjoyed watching drag racing and spending time with his cats.
He was preceded in death by a sister; Cindy Spencer.
Survivors include his loving wife of 30 years Elise Westacott Prevost, two sons; Dennis (Julie) Prevost of Jacksonville, FL, Devin (Tiffany) Prevost of Manchester, CT, two brothers; David (Barb Weckworth) Prevost, and Dirk Prevost both of Leicester, a sister; Lisa (Dean Lobrutto) Wasson of Mumford, many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
Memorial calling hours will be held at the Weeks Funeral Home 123 N. Main Street Warsaw on Friday, May 11th 2012 from 10am to 12pm. A memorial service will be held at the funeral home and will begin at 12pm conducted by the Reverend Laura Fry of Covington United Presbyterian Church. Burial will be private in the Leicester Cemetery.
