Dale L. Holmes, age 75, of Hillside Road Bliss, passed away, Friday, November 25, 2022 at the Wyoming County Community Hospital. Dale was born in Fillmore, a daughter of the late Jesse F. and Edith Cummings West. She graduated from Nunda Central School in 1966 and went on to earn a Commercial Art Degree from SUNY Geneseo. Dale lived in Castile for 37 years before moving to Bliss four years ago. She worked for many years as a Certified Nurse's Aide at Manor Oak and East Side Nursing Homes in Warsaw and later she worked at the Silver Springs One-Stop. Dedicated to her family, Dale was especially fond of her beloved grandchildren. She had beautiful flower gardens and enjoyed all the birds in the yard. A truly artistic lady, Dale loved to draw and paint.

Dale is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, Dennis K. Holmes, whom she married on March 18, 1978. Additional survivors include her 3 daughters, Jackie (James) Hardy of Perry, Josephine (Andrew) Wright of Florida, Jennifer (Sean) Buchwald of Franklinville, a son, Winfield Marshall of LeRoy, 3 sisters, Barb (Bill) Fiebelkorn of Belfast, Gail Gawlak of Caneadea, Tammy (Gil) Hamer of Box Elder, South Dakota, 3 brothers, Jay (Georgia) West of Duquoin, Ill, Clair (Rita) West of Caneadea, Heath (Anne) West of Belfast, 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.

Friends of Dale L. Holmes may call on Tuesday, December 6 from 1-3pm and 6-8pm at the Weeks Funeral Home 123 N. Main Street Warsaw, NY 14569. Funeral services will follow on Wednesday December 7, 2022, 11am at the funeral home with Pastor Sam Wolcott of the Sandusky Baptist Church as officiant.
