Cynthia A. Shade age 75, of Warsaw, entered into rest on, November 9, 2023. Cindy was born in Rochester, New York, May 6, 1948, a daughter of the late Robert Barrett and Violet Van Dorn. She was a longtime resident of Middleport, NY.  Cindy was a homemaker, wife, mother, grand and great grandmother. She was a member of the Middleport Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed Crocheting, Reading, and especially spending time with her family playing Yahtzee.  Cindy adored her cats and loved watching Hallmark shows.

Cindy is predeceased by her husband, Donald Shade, parents, Robert Barrett and Violet (McNeil) Van Dorn (Marchal), and sister Lee Stein.  Cindy is survived by eight children, Robin (Chuck) Van Dorn-Watson, Kris (Todd) Beyer, Robert (Evie) Van Dorn, Julie Pries, Kathy Shade (David Adamson), Marchal (Kathy) Van Dorn, Rebecca (Barry) Christie, Kim (Dan) Coloney, 19 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren. Also, survived by her brothers Duane Barret and Robert Barrett, and several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held with family and friends at a later date.
