Cynthia A. Hawkins, age 70, of Weber Rd., passed away Thursday, May 16th, 2013 at the Wyoming County Community Hospital in Warsaw. She was born in Jamestown, January 7th, 1943, daughter of the late Angelo and Lillian Duweiger Cardinale. A resident of Wyoming County since 1986, and previously of Buffalo, Cynthia was a dedicated home maker who enjoyed painting china, flowers, and spoiling her grandchildren. She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Richard H. Hawkins of Gainesville, 2 sons; Richard R. (Susan Machin) Hawkins of Tonawanda and Duane (Laura) Hawkins of Niagara Falls; a granddaughter, Gina; 2 grandsons, Edward and Benjamin; several nieces and nephews, and her beloved dog Cocoa. A memorial service will be held at the family home at a later date.
