Batavia-
Conrad R. Kososki, age 80, of Ellicott Street Road, passed away Wednesday, June 6th, 2012, at the United Memorial Medical Center in Batavia. He was born in Buffalo, November 26th, 1931, the son of the late Louis and Pauline Lechfor Kososki. A resident of Batavia since 1982 and previously of Warsaw, Conrad graduated from Warsaw High School in 1950. He served his country honorably with the United States Army from January of 1951 to December of 1953. Conrad was self-employed for 21 years, running Cal-Pak Manufacturing in Batavia as well as doing various other jobs around the area. He enjoyed working on household projects and tinkering. Conrad was predeceased by a brother, Raymond Kososki. Survivors include a daughter, Joan (James Bush) Stone of Pittsburgh, PA; a son, Thomas Kososki of Coupeville, WA; 3 brothers, Leonard Kososki of Warsaw, Donald Kososki of East Aurora and N. Richard (Debbie) Kososki of Springville, Utah; and a close friend, Richard (Paula Stablewski) McDermott of Warsaw. Friends of Conrad may call from 10am to noon, Thursday, June 14th, 2012, at the Week Funeral Home, 123 N. Main St., Warsaw. A funeral service will be held following calling hours with Rev. Dr. Barbara Therese of the United Church of Warsaw as Officiant. Burial will follow in the Warsaw Cemetery with full military honors.
