Christopher S. Kemp, age 58, of Germantown, Ohio, passed away at home, June 18 ^th 2020. Chris was born in Buffalo, May 1 ^st 1962 the son of Nancy O'Neil of Bliss, NY. Chris served in the United States Army from 1980 to 1983 as an infantryman and was employed with Active USA as a truck driver for over 20 years. Chris was a member of the American Legion Post #6 in Ohio. He enjoyed spending time with his family, watching his grandchildren play sports, fishing and helping others whenever he could. Chris was a fighter, but always found a reason to smile. He was a kid at heart with a great sense of humor. Chris was preceded in death by a brother; Audie O'Neil. Surviving along with his mother are his two children; Shawna (David) Close of Germantown, Ohio, Chris Brown of Murfreesboro, TN, his siblings Jim (Ann) Kemp of Castile, Laura (Jerry) Bailey of Bliss, Kenneth O'Neil of Bliss, Tim (Lori) Guy of Murfreesboro, TN, six grandchildren; Michael, Parker, Isabella, Noah, Boue, and Lola along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Chris made a lot of friends with his ALS and Legion families. Memorial services were held in Ohio.
