LTC Charlotte G. Kinney passed away, at home, in Carlisle, PA, February 19, 2022. Charlotte was born December 26, 1942 a daughter of the late Gordon and Marian Smith Kinney. Charlotte received her BS in 1964 and her Master's Degree in education in 1984 from the State University of New York in Oneonta, New York. She also earned a Master's Degree with the Evangelical Seminary in 2020 and taught English in China for many years. Charlotte served honorably in the United States Army for twenty nine years retiring with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel actually starting her career in the Woman's Army Corps. She is survived by her son, Jeff Geer of Tacoma, Washington. A visitation will be held for family and friends on Friday, March 4, 2022 at Hoffman Funeral Home 2020 W. Trindle Rd. Carlisle, PA. Additional calling will be held at the Weeks Funeral Home 123 N. Main Street Warsaw. An American Legion Funeral Service will be conducted following the calling at 11am, Friday, March 11, 2022 by Walter Klein Post #532.
