Pavilion-

Celia E. Milroy, age 85, of Hutchinson St., passed away Tuesday, February 6th, 2018 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Ingram, KY, May 17th, 1932, daughter of the late William and Marie Hembree Hendrickson. A resident of Genesee County since 1952, raised in Kentucky, and a 1950 graduate of Lima High School, Celia worked in quality control for Rochester Products in Rochester. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Pavilion, and formerly of Hemlock Baptist Church as a Pastor's wife to her husband Albert. She was very supportive of her family and welcoming to all. Celia enjoyed flower gardening and loved birds; especially hummingbirds. She was predeceased by her husband, Albert E. Milroy in 2012; and 2 brothers, Dallas and John "Mac" Hendrickson. Survivors include 2 daughters, Leonore Andrews of Rochester and Deborah Oates of Sunset Beach, CA; 2 sons, Daniel (Eileen) Milroy of Albion and David (Brenda) Milroy of Leicester; 3 sisters, Ivy Strasburg of Cohocton, Maxine Benson of Pavilion, and Myrtle Teed of Avon; 2 sisters-in-law, Darlene Hendrickson of Perry and Judy Hendrickson of Covington; 10 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at a later date at the First Baptist Church of Pavilion with Pastor Sam McAllister officiating. Burial will take place at the convenience of the family in the Pavilion Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in Celia's name to the First Baptist Church of Pavilion at 10956 Lake St. Pavilion, NY 14525 or to the Pavilion Fire Department at PO Box 158 Pavilion, NY 14525.
