Carolee June Buck Millen, age 81 of West Court Street Warsaw, loving wife of Ralph Millen, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday March 29, 2026 at Buffalo General Hospital. Carolee was born in Hornell NY, a daughter of the late Reverend Gerald F. and Reba Fuller Wright. Carolee graduated from Painted Post High School in 1962. She married the late Rev. Donald Buck and together led several Wesleyan and Free Methodist churches across western NY including the Valley Chapel Free Methodist Church on Center Street in Warsaw. Carolee earned her Nursing Degree from Genesee Community College in 1984 and worked in the Wyoming County Community Hospital Operating Room and Obstetrics, then served as the School Nurse for Wyoming Central School for many years. She moved to Pennsylvania serving at Hershey Medical Center and Philhaven Hospital as a Psychiatric Nurse, and later moved back to Warsaw serving in the Behavioral Health Center at Wyoming County Community Hospital from where she retired in 2006.
In retirement, Carolee and her husband Ralph enjoyed traveling to visit family and friends, and she spent hours in touch with everyone by phone and by cards and letters.
Carolee was a longtime member of the Valley Chapel and the Burke Hill Bible Church. She was a faithful Christian, and set a solid example by which her family is guided to this day.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Joyce Smith, Jenny (Leonard) Jarnot, a brother, Rev. Gerald Wright Jr., her late husband Rev. Donald Buck.
Survivors include her loving husband, Ralph J. Millen whom she married September 1, 2018. Additional survivors include three sons, Jeffrey (Lydia) Buck of Kunkletown, PA, Christopher (Pam) Buck of York, PA, Matthew (Kelly) Buck of Warsaw, two step sons, Peter (Patricia) Millen of Warsaw, Eric (Amanda) Millen of Livonia, a sister, Marti (Mike) Garner of Hummelstown, PA, a brother in-law, Claude (Annie) Smith of Johnson City, NY, 39 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends of Carolee Millen may call on Monday, April 13, 2026 from 6-8pm at the Weeks Funeral Home 123 N. Main Street Warsaw, NY 14569. Additional calling will be Tuesday, April 14 from 11am to 12pm followed by a memorial service beginning at 12pm with Reverend Mark Weber as officiant. Burial will be conducted privately in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Houghton. Please visit www.weeksfuneral.com to offer condolences, send cards, light a candle or to plant a tree in Carolee's name. Flowers are gratefully declined.
