Carol D. Casselberry, age 67, of Perry Avenue, Silver Springs, passed away, Saturday, August 27, 2022 at the Wyoming County Community Hospital in Warsaw with her beloved family by her side. Carol was born in Warsaw, January 3, 1955 a daughter of the the late Kenneth and Ruth Hicks Scott. Carol graduated from Letchworth Central School in 1974 where she was a member of the "Tri-Town Cadets" drum and bugle corps where she flagged for the color guard. A resident of Silver Springs since 2014, and a previous resident of Castile. She worked for over 20 years in the folding and printing departments at Champion in Perry before it's closing. Carol then went on to work in housekeeping at the Warsaw Hospital. She was a big Bills and hockey fan. Carol will always be remembered as a dedicated, loving, mother and grandmother who would do anything for her family. In her spare time she enjoyed reading and crocheting but found time to read her Bible every day.

Carol was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Russell J. Casselberry in 2013 and her three brothers, Michael, Douglas, and Steven Scott.

Survivors include her two sons, Russell (Amy) Casselberry II of Warsaw, Darryl Casselberry of Perry, a daughter Savannah (Brent Piraino) Allbright of Perry, 5 grandchildren, Jenna and Andrew Casselberry, Ashlynn and Samantha Roggow, Arianna Allbright, a great grandson, Braxton Ballard, a sister, Gloria (Darryl) Dombowski of Hermitage, 3 brothers, Paul (Abbey) Scott of Castile, Cliff (Carol) Scott of Silver Springs, Thomas (Bonnie) Scott of Castile, a sister in-law, Wendy Scott of Lamont and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Friends of Carol D. Casselberry may call on Thursday, September 1 st 2022 at the Castile United Church of Christ from 3-4pm. Funeral services will begin at 4pm with Rev. Tammy Lathan officiating. Burial will take place privately in the Grace Cemetery beside her husband Russell. Weeks Funeral Home 123 N. Main Street Warsaw, NY 14569 has arrangements.
