Carl R. Graves Sr., age 70, of 11345 Transit Rd., passed away Friday, February 24th, 2012 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Bliss, May 2nd, 1941, the son of the late Glenn and Lola Crouse Graves. A lifetime resident of Wyoming and Genesee Counties, Carl worked as a Pug Mill Operator at Lapp Insulator in LeRoy for 30 years. He enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren and family. He was predeceased by 4 sisters, Thelma, Dorothy, Helen and Frances. Survivors include his loving wife of 27 years, Gynnea Graves who he married December 31st, 1984; 7 daughters, Theresa (Rodney) Wright of Georgia, Anna (Eddie) Holst of Washington State, Thelma (Kenny ) Prial of Mississippi, Irene (Tim) Prevorse of LeRoy, Bobbie-Jo Graves of Mississippi, Laura Graves of Arkansas, and Carol Graves of Wyoming, 4 sons, Terry Kahl of Warsaw, Gerald Kahl of Mississippi, Carl Graves Jr. of Nevada and Carlsson Graves of Wyoming; a brother, Norman Graves of Batavia; 15 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. There will be memorial calling hours held Saturday, March 3rd, 2012 from 5pm to 7pm at the Weeks Funeral Home 123 N. Main St. Warsaw, NY 14569.
