Bruce A. "Bab" Bayliss, age 73, of Saltvale Road Warsaw passed away, Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at the Wyoming County Community Hospital in Warsaw after a hard fought battle with cancer. Bruce was born in Attica, New York, July 1 ^st , 1948, a son of the late Charles J. and Dorothy R. Steele Bayliss. Bruce graduated from Attica High School in 1968 and immediately enlisted in the United States Air Force as a Fuel Systems Specialist. After serving in Vietnam, Bruce decided to make a career of his service and continued for twenty two years serving in Alaska, North and South Carolina before retiring in 1991 as a Master Sergeant. He was a dedicated and loving husband to his wonderful wife of 46 years. Bruce worked part time for Texas Brine in Wyoming, NY after his military service ended. He enjoyed fishing, shooting sports, Bingo and bowling. Bruce was liked by all who knew him. He spent his spare time maintaining his property and loved decorating for Christmas.

Bruce was preceded in death by his brother; Mark J. Grys.

Survivors include his loving wife; Peggy A. Capps Bayliss, whom he married on September 4 ^th 1976. Additional survivors include two sisters; Ruth Bayliss of Warsaw, Deborah (Keith) Everetts of North Java, a brother; Robert (Julie) Bayliss of Wyoming, and several nieces and nephews.
