Obituary

Brian M. Boitschenko, age 45, of Market Street, Attica and formerly Warsaw, passed away at home, Wednesday, May 12, 2026. Brian was born in Buffalo, a son of Mark and Laura Boitschenko Yarington of Warsaw. He attended Attica Central School and worked as a truss builder / carpenter, for the former P&R Truss Company in Chaffee, NY. In his favorite place and thing to do, Brian found peace. He cherished his friendships and his time fishing the Tonawanda Creek. This quote sums up the pain of Brian's loss. "If I lose this fight, tell them I tried, tell them I stood my ground, but the darkness spoke louder than the love I could hear. Tell them I waited, tell them I pleaded, but mercy felt weaker than the end closing in. Lay me to rest in silence, and let time keep moving forward without me. I was only a shadow, just a body holding on. Tell them I faded like fog in the rain. Tell them I went somewhere where pain can't follow anymore."

Survivors include his brothers, Nicolas (Brandi) Boitschenko of Machias, David Yarington of Pavilion, Peter (Stacy) Yarington of South Dakota, a sister, Tracy Meyers of Castile, many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and close friends.
