Bonnie L. Berkemeier, age 78, of School Street, Wyoming passed away peacefully, at home, Sunday, February 22, 2026, with her family by her side. Bonnie was born in Warsaw, a daughter of the late Emil R. Weaver Jr. and Bessie M. Schlegel Weaver. She was raised in Fowlerville, New York and graduated from York Central School in 1965. After graduation, Bonnie attended and graduated from the Wyoming County Nursing Program where she became a Registered Nurse. She worked as a nurse for Wyoming County, the DDSO in Dansville and Wyoming County Home Health retiring in 2003. Bonnie and her husband also owned the Cornerstone Restaurant in Wyoming from 1987 to 2003. She was a member of Calvary Chapel in Perry. Bonnie had a generous and giving spirit that showed through her volunteerism with Hospice and the the Bethany Fire Department. Family was always first and she adored her grandchildren. Bonnie and her family resided in Bethany and she recently moved to Wyoming. Her favorite quote was "You never have to be afraid when you have Jesus."

Bonnie was preceded in death by her brother, Emil R. Weaver III, a brother in-law, Jessie Phelps, and a daughter in-law, Catherine Shuetze-Berkemeier.

Survivors include her loving husband, William C. Berkemeier whom she married on April 4, 1968, three sons, William W. and Jeremy Berkemeier both of Bethany, Oakley (Rebecca) Berkemeier, and a daughter, Kari (Andy) Kreutter both of Wyoming, a "foster son", Jacob (Christine) Elliott of Penfield, two brothers, James (Diana) Weaver of Piffard, Gary Weaver of Pohoa, Hawaii, a sister, Helen Phelps of Lima, five grandchildren, Alex, Andrew and Kelly Kreutter, George and Blaise Berkemeier as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends of Bonnie L. Berkemeier may call on Wednesday, February 25, 2026 from 1-3pm and 7-9pm at the Weeks Funeral Home 123 N. Main Street Warsaw, NY 14569. Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home on Thursday, February 26th at 11am with Pastor Harley Doneburg of Calvary Chapel officiating.
