Betty Mae Wilcox, age 91, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, February 15 ^th 2022 at the Orchard Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Medina. Betty was born in Lyons, New York, November 17, 1930, a daughter of the late Irving and Pearl Brown Facer. She was a 1948 graduate of North Rose High School where she was voted "Rose Queen". She spent a lifetime in Pike before moving to Medina 20 years ago. Betty worked for Motorola in Arcade and Elma as a radio equipment assembler, retiring after thirty years. She enjoyed Bingo, Lotto, and scratch off tickets. Betty collected cook books, and loved reading, fishing, canning and baking especially cookies. A dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother, Betty will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her 1 ^st husband; Jay E. Buckley in 1983, a sister; Marge Riggs, a sister In-Law; Dorothy Knapp, a Son In-Law; Stephen Mayer.

Survivors include her husband Clinton Wilcox of Medina, three daughters; Edna Mayer of Medina, Roxie Nourse of Warsaw, Candi (Allen) Snyder of Palm Bay, Florida, a son; Monty (Alli) Buckley of Michigan, three step sons; Doug (M.J.) Wilcox of Batavia, Randy (Donna) Wilcox, Todd ( Bev) Wilcox both of Medina, two brothers; William Knapp of North Rose, NY, Roger (Joanne) Knapp of Alton, NY, a sister; Nancy (Jim) Downey of Silver Springs. 7 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great granddaughter.

Friends of Betty M. Wilcox may call on Monday, February 21, 2022 from 11am to 1pm at the Weeks Funeral Home 123 N. Main Street Warsaw, NY 14569. Funeral services will follow the calling at 1pm conducted by Pastor Robert Farnsworth. Burial will take place in the Spring in the Elmwood Cemetery in Pike.
