Betty J. Pierce, age 85, of North Main St., passed away Sunday, January 13 ^th , 2019 at the Wyoming County Skilled Nursing Facility. She was born in Warsaw, January 8 ^th , 1934, daughter of the late John and Helen Herman Fuest. A resident of Warsaw since 2003, previously of Florida, and a 1953 graduate of Wyoming Central School, Betty worked for Mallory Timers from 1967 to 1972 and operated a house cleaning business in Florida for 10 years. She enjoyed playing Euchre, crocheting, picture puzzles, cooking and baking. She was predeceased by her husband of 35 years, Clayton Pierce in 2007. Survivors include a sister, Marjorie Dersam of Warsaw; devoted niece and caregiver, Linda (Ernie) Collings of Silver Springs; a niece, Mary Lou (Walter) Strathern of Wyoming; and several additional nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held 11am Wednesday, January 16 ^th , 2019 in the Warsaw Cemetery.
