Betty L. Bliss age 70 of Wellsville, died Wednesday, July 27th 2011 at the Wellsville Manor Care Center. She was born in Zanesville, Ohio March 21st 1941 the daughter of the late Virgil and Marjorie Duncan Metcalf. Betty spent the last ten years in Wellsville but lived most of her life in Belfast, NY. A homemaker, Betty was a real people person and loved her cat. She was dedicated to her children and grandchildren and will be fondly missed for her board game strategies. She is survived by her 2 daughters; Dixie (Rick) Johannes of Warsaw and Vickie (Duane) Wright of New Bloomfield, PA, a brother; Frank (Connie) Metcalf of Silver Springs, 6 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive. A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family and burial will follow in the Prospect Hill Cemetery, Perry Center.
