Beatrice F. Tilton (Aunt Bea), 95, of Warsaw, passed away peacefully on Sept. 24, 2025, at the Skilled Nursing Facility in Warsaw. She was born August 30, 1930, in Batavia, the daughter of the late Joseph and Eleanor Ewell Fuest. Bea lived most of her early years on the family farm on East Road in Wyoming and was one of three surviving members of the Class of 1949 at the recent Wyoming Central School Reunion held this past summer. In 1957, Bea married Walter E. Tilton and they eventually moved to the Village of Warsaw. Walt worked on the Stone Plant Maintenance Crew for DeWitt and she lost him in a work accident in August 1983. Bea worked as a secretary most her life and retired from New York State Corrections in 1996, where she worked in the mail room. She loved to buy and sell dolls , operated "Bea's Doll Store" on Main Street in Wyoming, and especially enjoyed Doll and Antique Shows. Bea belonged to the Wyoming County Community Hospital Auxiliary (working in the Gift Shop), the Moose Club, and the "Red Hatters". She also loved NASCAR, the Yankees, the Sabres, the Steelers, and every cat or dog she ever met. Along with her husband and parents, Bea is predeceased by her brother and sister-in-law, John and Anna Fuest, and nephews, Dennis Kirish and Gordon Blake. She is survived by nieces and nephews Bill (Ursula) Fuest, Deb Kirish, Bob (Kate) Fuest, David (Darlene) Fuest, Diane (Janet) Fuest, Tara (Richard) Longhini, Scott Blake, Dan Blake and many great-nieces and great-nephews, half-brother Donald McCullough, and all of her great friends on North Maple Street. Family and friends may call on Monday, Sept 29, 2025 from 3-6 pm at Weeks Funeral Home, 123 N Main St., Warsaw. Bea's funeral mass will be held at 10 am, Tuesday, Sept 30th at St. Michael's Church, 171 N Main St, Warsaw. Burial will be private in the Quaker Settlement Cemetery.
