Barbara A. Stoffer, age 90, of North Main Street Gainesville, passed away suddenly, Monday, January 10 ^th 2022 at the United Memorial Hospital in Batavia. Barb was born at home in Wethersfield, September 23, 1931 a daughter of the late Frank and Florence Hale Ikeler. A lifetime resident of Gainesville, Barb managed the Countryside Restaurant in Portageville for many years before running the kitchen at East Side Nursing Home in Warsaw and retiring in 2009. Barb was dedicated to her church, the Gainesville United Methodist, where she spent much of her time. She was a terrific cook and loved shopping. When she could, she spent time sewing and performing cross stitch. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and her beloved pets.

Barb was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 66 years; Carl P. Stoffer, her four brothers; Fred, Frank, Dan, and Dave Ikeler, her sister; Viola "Tilly" Henry.

Survivors include her three sons; Patrick Stoffer of California, Thomas Stoffer of Gainesville, Chris (Kimberly) Stoffer of Silver Springs, two grandsons; Zach and Brady Stoffer, three granddaughters; Morgan, Tara, and Chelsie Stoffer, several great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends of Barbara A. Stoffer may call on Friday, January 14, 2022 from 1-3 and 6-8pm at the Weeks Funeral Home 123 N. Main Street Warsaw, NY 14569. Funeral services will be held 10am, Saturday, January 15 ^th 2022 at the Gainesville United Methodist with Pastor Lauren Turner as officiant.
