Barbara Senft, age 91, died peacefully Thursday, May 29th at the Wyoming County Skilled Nursing Facility in Warsaw.
She was born in Perry, December 4th 1916, the daughter of the late Joseph and Frances (Szlachetha) Rozanski. Barbara was a lifetime resident of the area and worked the family farm as well as being a full time homemaker. She was a member of St. Joseph's Church and enjoyed dancing and flowers. Family and home life was what she held dearest. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her, especially her children and grandchildren as family was what she held dearest.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Alfred L. Senft who passed away on February 17th 1998. Also predeceased is a son Alan G. Senft (1982) a brother Henry Rozanski and a sister Teresa Rozanski.
She is survived by her son; Alfred M. (Nancy) Senft of Perry, a daughter Martha (Richard) Muscarella of Alden, 4 granddaughters, 1 great granddaughter.
Friends of Barbara Senft may call Monday, June 2nd from 9-11am at Weeks Funeral Home 123 N. Main St. Warsaw where funeral services will be held at 11am with Father Richard Blazejewski of St. Joseph's Church acting as celebrant.
