Barbara A. Kessler, age 77 of Dunham Road, Varysburg passed away suddenly, Friday August 13 ^th 2021 at the Wyoming County Skilled Nursing Facility in Warsaw. Barbara was born in Buffalo, January 10 ^th 1944, a daughter of the late Elmer F. and Clara R. Vogl Schraven. Barb graduated from Baker Victory High School in 1961 and went on to work at Mercy Hospital as a Operating Room Technician for 39 years before retiring in 1999. She enjoyed traveling to Florida, lunch dates, shopping with her granddaughters, playing Bingo, golfing with friends, and just about any type of social engagement with her friends.

Barbara was preceded in death by her brothers Ronald and Kenneth Schraven.

Survivors include her loving husband of 55 years, Robert Kessler whom she married on July 30 ^th 1966, hers sons; Robert (Donna A.) Kessler of Tonawanda, Jeffrey (Christine) Kessler of Basom, her grandchildren; Robert (Stephanie) Kessler, Jessica (Darius) Harris, Lauren Kessler, a special sister in-law and best friend; Ruth Schraven as well as several nieces and nephews.

A time of memorial family gathering will be held on Thursday, August 19 ^th 2021 from 3 to 6pm at the Weeks Funeral Home 123 N. Main Street Warsaw, NY 14569.
