Barbara L. Dumbleton, age 72, of Silver Lake Rd., passed away Wednesday, July 4 ^th , 2018 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Warsaw, February 22 ^nd , 1946, daughter of the late Alvin and Mary Schell Buchwald. A lifetime resident of Wyoming County, and a 1964 graduate of Warsaw High School, Barbara worked as an Administrative Assistant for the Manor House in Batavia up until 2011 when she retired. She attended the Pavilion Methodist Church and enjoyed reading, quilting and cross stitch. Barbara was predeceased by 2 sisters, JoAnn Buchwald and Charlotte Culbertson. Survivors include her loving husband, Richard Dumbleton whom she married February 3 ^rd , 1967; a daughter, JoAnn Dumbleton of Pavilion; a son, Richard Dumbleton Jr. of Pavilion; 2 brothers, AJ (Joan) Buchwald of Pike and Paul (Marge) Buchwald of Wethersfield; a sister, Joan Allen of Florida; and 2 grandchildren, Kristen and Jaden Dumbleton. Memorial contributions may be made in Barbara's name to the Disabled American Veterans at www.dav.org .
