Avis Daniels, age 90, of Linwood Ave., went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, August 15th, 2017 at the Wyoming County Skilled Nursing Facility, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Wethersfield, May 3rd, 1927, daughter of the late Louis and Ida Mae Hammond Hatfield. A longtime resident of Wyoming and Genesee Counties, Avis retired in 1990, as an assembler for PW Minor Shoes in Batavia, after working there for over 20 years. Avis enjoyed watching old movies , following celebrity news and the royal family. She was predeceased by 2 brothers, Louis and Lavern Hatfield and a sister, Dorothy Hanley. Avis was an extremely loving and dedicated mother to her 4 daughters and their families; Donna McCormick of Batavia, Linda (Robert) Kriner of Elma, Sandra Daniels of Warsaw, and Deborah "Debbi" (Lawrence) Hicks of Castile; a sister, Ruby Savoy of Hornell; a close grand daughter, Amanda Conrow of Warsaw; 8 additional grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grand daughter. Burial will take place privately in the Warsaw Cemetery. Flowers are gratefully declined. Memorial contributions may be made to the patient fund at the Wyoming County Skilled Nursing Facility, 400 N.
