Audrey D. Bunce, age 62 of School Road Gainesville died Monday, March 17th at the Wyoming County Community Hospital in Warsaw after a lengthy illness.
She was born in Warsaw, April 16th 1945 the daughter of the late Alfred White and Madeline (Bailey) White of Gainesville. She worked for Champion Products in Perry, NY as a Lay-Up Operator for 23 years before retiring in 1987. She enjoyed going to Jamborees, listening to country music, as well as spending time with her family and friends. She did this by traveling to Nashville and Baltimore. Her greatest joy was watching wrestling with her grandson Joe. Audrey had a great sense of humor and was always considered the life of the party. She also liked her flower garden, playing board games and working on puzzles.
She is survived by her Mother Madeline "Mickey" White and her longtime friend and caregiver Gloria Perkins both of Gainesville. Two Daughters; Stacey Bunce of Gainesville and (fiancee Ron Kennedy), Julie (Christopher) Hall of East Bethany, 1 Step-Daughter; Darcey Barker of Woodhull, NY. Also surviving is her former Husband and longtime friend Art Bunce of Castile, two grandsons Joseph Bunce and Steven Hall, 2 Step Granddaughters; Jenna Perkins and Tasha Mayo, Three Brothers Duane (Mary) White of Bradenton Beach, FL., Eugene White (fiancée Verna Grimes) of Caledonia, Lavern (Rita) White of Gainesville, 2 Sisters; Wanda Casselberry of South Warsaw, and Lisa (Donald) Myers of Wyoming, Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
Friends of Audrey D. Bunce may call on Friday March 21st from 2-4 and 7-9pm at the Weeks Funeral Home 123 N. Main Street Warsaw. Funeral services will be held on Saturday March 22nd at the funeral home at 10am with Pastor Terry Sue Wiliford celebrating.
Burial will follow the service in Maple Grove Cemetery in Gainesville.
