Arlie Rosalie Wilke, age 81 of Rochester Street Warsaw died Friday January 18th 2013 at her own home surrounded by her loving family. Arlie was born in Warren, PA, September 22nd 1931 the daughter of the late Franklin and Ellen Mae Vorse Geiger. She was a lifetime resident of Wyoming County and she worked in food service at Manor Oak Nursing Home in Warsaw before retiring. She was a longtime member of the Valley Chapel Free Methodist Church and enjoyed gardening and sewing. She will best be remembered for her homemade fudge as she was a terrific cook and baker. Arlie was preceded in death by two husbands; Rev. Elwood Meyerhoff and Theodore Wilke, two brothers; Bruce and Clifford Geiger, three sisters; Marjorie Geiger, Annabelle Ferry and Mildred Rounds. Survivors include two brothers; Laurence (Joyce) Geiger of Springcreek, PA, Ted M.R. (Winnifred) Geiger of Bear Lake, PA, a sister; Joyce (Opal) Miles of Warren, PA, a stepson; Paul (Brenda) Meyerhoff of Chautauqua, NY, a daughter; Sandra Boss of Hattysburg, Miss, five grandchildren; Gary, Cody, and Kable Kahl, Brent Boss and Chelsea Schmieder as well as several nieces and nephews. Friends of Arlie Wilke may gather with family for a time of remembrance at the Valley Chapel in Warsaw on Thursday, January 24th from 10:30am to 11am at which time a memorial service will be conducted by Pastor Todd Daningburg.
