Arlene E. Delude, age 89, of Prospect St., Warsaw, passed away Sunday, January 8th, 2012 at the East Side Nursing Facility. She was born in Wethersfield, October 18th, 1922, the daughter of the late David and Myrtle Furnal Upright. A resident of Warsaw for the past 20 years and previously of Gainesville and Attica, Arlene was a dedicated homemaker. She enjoyed reading, crafts and traveling with her brother Howard. Arlene was predeceased by her loving husband William DeLude and 8 siblings. Survivors include a son, Robert (Laura Sines) DeLude of Rathbone, NY; 2 daughters, Beverly (Louis Pfeiffer) Pedraza of Warsaw and Sue (Clair) Shoemaker of Campbell, NY; a brother, Howard Upright of Warsaw; a sister, Marian Balcom of Florida; 9 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Friends of Arlene may call Tuesday, January 10th, 2012 from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm at the Weeks Funeral Home, 123 N. Main Street, Warsaw. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home Wednesday, January 11th, 2012 at 1pm with Mark Taft Jr. as celebrant. Burial will follow in the Forrest Hill Cemetery in Attica.
