Anna D. Shabloski, age 92 of Almeter Road Warsaw, died peacefully, Wednesday, April 8th surrounded by her loving family at the Wyoming County Skilled Nursing Facility in Warsaw. She was born in Bloomville, N.Y. May 6th 1916, the daughter of the late Anthony and Helen Swiderska Dorosky. She was a 1934 graduate of Bloomville High School and was a dedicated homemaker. Anna was a longtime member of the Catholic Daughters of America and attended St. Nicholas Church in North Java. She had the gift of a green thumb and many a garden was created when she would pass along flowers and bulbs of her own to various family and friends. Anna was preceded in death by her loving husband of 54 years Francis on July 30th 1998, whom she married on June 18th 1944. Also predeceased are 2 sisters; Josephine Oblinski and Sophie Bilek and a brother Frank Dorosky. Survivors include 4 sons; David (Vivian) Schabloski of Brooklyn, NY, Philip (Teri) Schabloski of Silver Springs, NY, Roderick Schabloski of Barker, NY, and Thomas (Sally) Schabloski of Warsaw, NY. 6 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, a sister, Genevieve Chichester a sister in-law Gladys Dorosky both of Bloomville, NY and several nieces and nephews also survive. Friends of Anna Schabloski may call on Monday April 13th from 4-8 pm at the Weeks Funeral Home 123 N. Main ST. Warsaw. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. John Neumann Church (Formerly St. Cecelia's) in Sheldon on Tuesday, April 14th at 11am with Father Mathew Zirnheld officiating. Burial will follow in St. Nicholas Cemetery in North Java. Memorial contributions are requested to the North Java Rescue Squad at PO Box 137 N. Java, NY 14113.
