Anita J. Stewart, age 86, of State Street, Batavia, passed away, Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at the United Memorial Medical Center in Batavia. Anita was born in Delhi, New York a daughter of the late Harold and Mildred Hitt Hall. Anita resided in Batavia for the last year but moved around the Western New York area working as a Home Health Aide for both Wyoming and Genesee Counties. She was a social lady and enjoyed going on day trips with her friends through local organizations. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Anita was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Stewart, her children, James, Connie, and Bonnie Stewart, a son, John Hall, 4 brothers, Edward, Gerald, Wesley, and Donnie Hall, a sister, Carol Wilson, a son in-law, Martin McDonald, a daughter in-law Susan Stewart, 3 grandsons, William J. Stewart Jr., Dustin Good, Mathew Good and a great granddaughter, Angelia Rae Partin.

Survivors include her 3 sons, Alvin Stewart of Batavia, William Stewart of Texas, Walter Stewart of Warsaw, 3 daughters, Donna (Rick) Stier of Florida, Barbara McDonald of Warsaw, Diane (Gerald) Good of Batavia, a brother, Charlie Hall of Hobart, NY as well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
