Angela Marie (LaTorto) Luckenbach, 89, formerly of Warsaw, New York died on February 13, 2014 in Cheyenne, Wyoming. She was born on September 16, 1924 in Warsaw to Pietro and Domenica LaTorto. In early years she worked at Wyoming County Hospital in Warsaw. In 1982 she moved to Cheyenne to be closer to her children. Angela was an active, longtime member of St. Michael's Church in Warsaw. She enjoyed bowling and bingo, was an avid reader, collector of antiques, and excellent cook. She was proud of her Italian heritage and often told stories about her parents and Italy. Angela was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William "Bill" Luckenbach, who died in 1954. Surviving are her children, William Luckenbach of New York, Edgar Luckenbach of Wyoming, Cynthia Donaher of Utah, and Andrea Garcia of Arizona; 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Freda Maccarone and Marian Morgan, of New Jersey. She will be remembered for her compassion for Veterans and love of music and dancing. Angela loved Warsaw and wished to return to her home with family and friends. A memorial mass will be held 11am, May 10th, 2014 at St. Michael's Church in Warsaw. Donations suggested to the Wounded Warrior Project.
