Obituary

Amelia E. "Sue" Baker, age 90, of East Main Rd., passed away Monday, July 30 th , 2018 at the LeRoy Village Green. She was born in Rochester, April 20 th , 1928, daughter of the late Dewey and Vivian Pennock Perry. A resident of LeRoy since 1952, Sue worked as a riveter for 22 years at Steel Chest in LeRoy until 1974, moving on to do production work at Federal-Mogul, from where she retired in 1990. She enjoyed flower gardening and roses of any color, reading, puzzles, and spending time with the great grandchildren. Sue was predeceased by her husband, Calvin Baker and a brother, Robert Perry. Survivors include a son, Robert D. (Jolene) Baker of LeRoy; a sister, Arlene (Paul) Linderman of Olean; 2 brothers, Bill (Jo) Perry of Nunda and Dewey Jr. (Bernice) Perry of Rushford; 2 grandchildren, Carol (Steven) Scharlau of Newfane and Robert (Brandy) Baker of LeRoy; 3 great grandchildren, Andrew Baker of Newfane, and Brandon and Zachary Baker, both of LeRoy. Friends of Sue may call from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm Thursday, August 2 nd 2018 at the Weeks Funeral Home 123 N. Main St. Warsaw. A memorial service will be held at the funeral home 10am Friday, August 3 rd , 2018 with Rev. Henry Moore of Living Waters Church officiating. Burial will take place in the Warsaw Cemetery. In lieu of memorials, the family requests flower donations, especially any color of roses.
