Alice Claire Wilson, age 91 of Wyoming, New York passed away Wednesday, December 23 rd 2020 at Suzanne's Comfort Care Home in Perry. Alice was born in Buffalo, New York, October 26 th 1929, a daughter of the late Clarence W. and Mercedes Dunlap Mutton. Alice was a graduate of LeMoyne College Catholic University earning her Master's Degree. She then attended the University of Notre Dame where she earned her Doctorate. Alice wanted to be remembered as an educator, having taught for nearly 50 years. (Kindergarten through Graduate School.)

Alice was involved in the Wyoming Free Public Library, the Wyoming Historical Society, the Susan Look Avery Club, a longtime Associate of the Sister's of St. Francis. She was also a member of Delta Kappa Gamma, an international honor society for women teachers. Alice also taught and was a Lector at St. Michael's Church in Warsaw for many years. She loved animals and took great pleasure in walking her dogs over the years through the woods. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Charles Alan Wilson, her sisters; Ruth Mutton, Marion Mutton Robbins, a brother; Clarence Mutton Jr. and stepsons; Charles "Arnie" Wilson, James L. Wilson and a step daughter; Linda A. Chenaille. Alice is survived by her brother; Joseph (Susan) Mutton, a sister in-law; Rose Mutton, a brother in-law; Dean Robbins, step daughter; Susan (Steven) Lee, a step daughter in-law; Carol A. Wilson, step son in-law; Mike (Karen) Chenaille, and numerous nieces, nephews, step grandchildren and dear friends. Memorial contributions may be made to the Wyoming Free Public Library 114 S. Burial will be conducted in the Wyoming Cemetery following the mass.
