Alfred Fisher, age 89 of Prospect St., Warsaw passed away Friday, November 9 ^th , 2018 at the East Side Nursing Facility. He was born in Gainesville, June 5 ^th , 1929, son of the late John A. and Amanda E. Wood Fisher. A lifetime resident of Wyoming County, Alfred worked for many years on local farms and at the Warsaw Elevator Company. Alfred also worked for 28 years at Lapp Insulator in Leroy as well as part time at Archway in Perry. He loved the outdoors, particularly hunting whitetail deer. Alfred was a member of the Valley Chapel Free Methodist Church in Warsaw where he helped out as much as he could. He was predeceased by a daughter, Althea in 1997. Survivors include his loving wife Edith May Frazier Fisher whom he married August 12 ^th , 1948; a son, Alfred (Pam) Fisher of Midlothian, VA; a daughter, LuAnn (Chuck) Ferris of Los Lunas, NM; a brother-in-law, Steven (Virginia) Frazier of Gainesville, a son-in-law, William Goewey of Silver Springs; 4 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held 11am Friday, November 16 ^th , 2018 at the Valley Chapel Free Methodist Church 3415 NY-19, Warsaw, NY 14569.
