Pavilion-
Albert E. Milroy, age 84, of Hutchinson St., Pavilion, passed away Thursday, June 14th, 2012 at the Wyoming County Community Hospital in Warsaw. He was born in Covington, August 7th, 1927, the son of the late Albert E. Sr. and Leonore Brace Milroy. A lifetime resident of Pavilion, Albert worked as an inspector at Lapp Insulator in LeRoy for 44 years from where he retired in 1988. He also served the congregation of Hemlock Baptist Church as Pastor for over 25 years, retiring in 1997. Albert was a member of the First Baptist Church of Pavilion and served his country honorably with the United States Army Air Corps from 1945 to 1947. He spent many hours studying his bible and loved music and playing his guitar and harmonica. "He did alright for and old duck." Albert was predeceased by a Sister, Onnolee Mulcahy; a Granddaughter, Rachel Milroy; and a Son-In-Law, Ernest D. Oates II. Survivors include his loving wife of 61 years, Celia E. Hendrickson Milroy whom he married April 7th, 1951; 2 Daughters, Leonore Andrews of Rochester and Deborah Oates of California; 2 Sons, Daniel (Eileen) Milroy of Albion and David (Brenda) Milroy of Leicester; a Sister, Grace (Tony) Middleton of Florida; 4 Brothers, Richard Milroy of South Carolina, Paul Milroy of Pavilion, Donald (Marla) Milroy of Arizona and Charles (Peggy) Milroy of North Carolina, a brother in-law Sydney Mulcahy; 10 Grandchildren, 5 Great Grandchildren, and several Nieces and Nephews. A memorial service will be held at 7pm, Friday, June 22nd, 2012, at the First Baptist Church of Pavilion with Pastor Phil Green and Pastor Daniel Milroy as officiants. Burial will take place privately at the convenience of the family in the Pavilion Cemetery.
